The sacred cow

The sacred cow

In India the cow is venerated as the Mother of God and is present everywhere, including the middle of the street! In most Indian States, killing cows is forbidden by law. Until their  natural death, cows are nourished and cared for. Also in the World Peace Centre they are guests: visiting our land daily. Where the cows go, you also find cranes, following the cattle and eating frightened insects.
