The philosophy
of the World Peace CentreWORLD
Each soul contains the world and is a part of it.PEACE
Should be in small things: in our daily lives, within the family, among neighbors and friends – reached through respect, esteem, honesty and tolerance. Peace is in the place where a person finds decent work, so that a family may be fed. Peace is where there is mutual respect. Peace is where life is not governed by ignorance, arrogance, or competition.CENTER
A place where people try to achieve this. -
The Goal of the World Peace Centre: Helping people to help themselves –

Women will be trained in healing therapies. There will be training centers created for working with wood sculpture and painting.5. Medical Clinics
Clinics will be established offering medical help for emergencies and aid in fighting disease, providing inoculations, etc. Therapies will be offered such as crania-sacral therapy and foot reflex massage.6. Mandir, The Small Temple

How It All Began; The Start of Our Building
Ms. Shaktimata is the President and founder of the World Peace Healing and Cultural Research Center. Because she herself grew up in poverty, she has always had an open ear for others' needs. All her life she has been doing social work within her community. No doubt, she was influenced by her mother, who had always kept a bed ready for those who were outcasts or lived on the fringe of society. As more and more people sought help from Ms. Shaktimata, she developed the idea for a World Peace Centre.
The Sponsors of the German Annapurna Foundation were so impressed by this project that they wanted to make a major contribution. They consented to take over the entire cost of constructing the main building. Thanks to the effective personal engagement of a German couple, it was possible to build a team of specialists, both Indian and European. Working together, they have built—day after day—until both the exterior and interior of our main building could be realized.
The World Peace Centre is situated on a piece of land approximately 29,000 square meters in size. The main building is ready, yet there is always more work to be done.
